Welcome to AFC Lightning

We are a family friendly local football club based in Great Missenden (HP16), South Buckinghamshire playing and training in the beautiful surrounds of The Misbourne School (Great Missenden) and Lightning Park (Cryers Hill) for the older age groups.

We have over 200 children playing in our various teams, aged between 5 and 18 years old and since our start in April 2005 (formerly we were called AFC Holmer Green), we've made great progress in establishing ourselves as one of the region's top pace setter. We welcome players (boys and girls) of all abilities and from all areas.

We are affiliated to the Berks & Bucks FA and play in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference, the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League and the Bucks Girls Football League. We are a charter standard club and all our coaches are atleast F.A Level 1.
